What is Coffee Card?

It's an annual membership that gives you access to perks at participating independent cafes. It is designed to help you discover local cafes, support independent businesses, and save along the way.

Who is Coffee Card for?

For people who make independent cafes part of their routine. It's especially valuable if you visit several times a week or more. It's a simple way to save at the cafes you already frequent while discovering new local favorites.

How much does Coffee Card cost?

$30 for one year of membership, beginning on the day you join. Your membership renews annually unless you cancel before your renewal date.

How quickly can Coffee Card pay for itself?

For frequent cafe-goers, Coffee Card typically pays for itself within a couple of months. The exact timing depends on how often you visit, what you order, and the perks offered by the cafes you visit. After that, the savings continue for the rest of your membership year.

How do I use it?

After signing up, you will receive a digital Coffee Card that you can add to your smartphone's wallet. Show it at participating cafes to receive that cafe's listed perk each time you visit.

Which cafes participate?

You can view the current list of participating cafes here. Each cafe sets its own perk, and participating locations may change over time.

Does my membership renew automatically?

Yes. Your membership renews annually from the day you sign up unless you cancel before your renewal date.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel anytime before your renewal date to prevent the next annual charge. Your Coffee Card will remain active through the end of your current membership term.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If Coffee Card isn't right for you, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.

Can I give Coffee Card as a gift?

Yes. Gift memberships are good for one year and do not automatically renew. The recipient will receive an email with their own digital Coffee Card (e.g., you provide their email as part of the purchase form). You can purchase one by clicking "Gift a Card" from the top-right of the page.

What happens if a cafe leaves Coffee Card?

The participating cafe list may change over time. Your membership will continue to work at all other participating cafes. Be sure to check the site for the most current listing of participating cafes and their member perks.

Can Coffee Card be combined with other discounts or loyalty programs?

That is up to each cafe. Some cafes may allow Coffee Card perks to be combined with other offers, while others may not.

Is Coffee Card affiliated with the participating cafes?

Coffee Card is an independent membership program. Participating cafes choose to join the network and determine the perk they offer members.

How are cafes selected?

We look for independent cafes that offer a damn good cup of coffee and a great customer experience. We also consider location, the perk offered to members, and how each cafe complements the existing Coffee Card network.

I have a cafe I'd like to see added. How do I suggest it?

We're always interested in hearing which cafes members would like to see join Coffee Card. Send us the cafe's name and location through the suggestion form. We can't guarantee that every suggested cafe will join, but your recommendation helps us decide where to reach out next.

What do you mean by "cafe"?

We use "cafe" as a broad term for places where great coffee is part of the experience. That can include coffee shops, bakeries, and occasionally restaurants or other neighborhood businesses with a strong coffee program. What matters is that they serve a damn good cup of coffee and feel like a good fit for the Coffee Card community.
